INNOVATIONS IN PRIMARY EDUCATION: FOREIGN EXPERIENCE

Abstract

Read abstract

Innovations in primary education are a key factor in enhancing the effectiveness of the learning process and developing essential competencies in children. The implementation of modern methods expands opportunities for individualized learning, increases student motivation, and improves academic outcomes. The article analyzes the foreign experience of innovations in education. It is established that one of the main directions is the use of digital technologies, including interactive whiteboards, tablets, educational applications, and adaptive platforms. These tools create a personalized learning environment that meets the needs of each student. Project-Based Learning (PBL) and STEAM education contribute to the development of critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork skills. They help students apply knowledge in practice and engage them in an active learning process. Gamification of learning, incorporating game elements into teaching, enhances student motivation and engagement. Platforms such as Classcraft and Kahoot! have become effective tools for engaging children in the learning process. It was found that the use of modern technologies, integration of project learning, gamification, STEAM methods and social-emotional learning help to make the educational process more interesting, accessible and effective. Further implementation of these approaches will contribute to the preparation of children for the challenges of the modern world. Teacher preparation for implementing innovative technologies plays a crucial role. It includes theoretical and practical training, psychological and pedagogical support, methodological guidance, and professional reflection, ensuring the successful application of new approaches in education. Further research in this area should focus on improving the methods of applying technology in teaching, assessing their impact on educational outcomes, and developing new pedagogical strategies to address modern challenges in primary education.
