Abstract

Read abstract

Abstract: The development of digital technology has triggered a profound transformation in the education sector, especially in the learning mechanism in Indonesia. Innovative approaches based on technology are emerging as an effective alternative to raising learning standards to be more engaging, efficient, and in line with the demands of the digital age. Various scientific studies show that the use of information and communication technology (ICT) can increase student encouragement, involvement, and understanding in the educational process. The literature review in this article refers to a variety of academic references that examine digital learning innovations, including the application of interactive tools, online platforms, as well as innovative models such as Game-Based Learning, Project-Based Learning, and Integrated Learning. Findings from previous research show that these three models make a positive contribution to the development of students' critical thinking skills, creativity, collaboration, and digital skills. The research method used in this paper is a literature review, namely through the examination and analysis of various journal articles, books, and related academic sources that discuss the implementation of technology-based learning innovations. Data was obtained through the search for reliable scientific sources and analyzed descriptively to get a comprehensive picture of its application and impact in learning. The results of the discussion revealed that the implementation of Game-Based Learning can increase student motivation and activities through a fun and interactive learning atmosphere. Technology-enabled Project-Based Learning has been proven to be effective in training students' critical thinking, problem-solving, and cooperation skills through authentic tasks. Meanwhile, Integrated Learning provides learning flexibility by combining online and face-to-face methods, making it more adaptive to school conditions, especially in rural areas. However, challenges such as limited infrastructure, access to technology, and teacher skills still require attention. Therefore, technology-based learning innovations must be designed with local context in mind so that they can be implemented optimally and sustainably.
