Engagement and convergence: Leadership for a world-class education in mathematics and technology

This paper is based on the transcript of a talk given by Patricia Moyer-Packenham, Utah State University, United States of America, at the International Conference on Innovation in Education and Pedagogy: ICIEP 2019, in Tangerang, Indonesia on 5 October 2019. The joint organizers of the conference were Universitas Terbuka Indonesia and Research Synergy Foundation. The focus of the talk was on providing leadership for a World-Class Education in Mathematics and Technology by focusing on two important elements of quality education – the ideas of engagement and convergence.
